Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of treatment settings—including addiction and eating disorder programs. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals facing challenges like severe mental illness, personality disorders (such as borderline personality disorder), and co-occurring struggles with trauma, shame, and identity.
My style as a therapist is down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe that healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and with the stories we carry. At Second Chance Healing, I offer a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out—just a willingness to show up as you are. Whether you’re working through compulsive behaviors, emotional pain, or feeling stuck in old patterns, I’m here to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
What Does a Session Look Like…
Each session is a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you’re encouraged to show up just as you are—no masks, no pressure to perform. In our initial sessions, we may spend some time completing assessments and gathering background information to help me better understand your unique story and what brings you to therapy. From there, we’ll explore the emotional, relational, and behavioral patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Therapy isn’t always easy—it can bring up discomfort, resistance, and hard truths. But it’s also a space for growth, healing, and reclaiming your life. I use a blend of practical tools, psychoeducation, and deeper emotional work, all tailored to your goals and your pace. Whether we’re unpacking trauma, navigating relationships, or working through compulsive behaviors, our work together is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that meaningful change is possible.
